Called back after getting a threatening message stating warrant out for my arrest - reeled off my 'charges and jail time" - was unhelpful and angry towards me when I started questioning him. I got a call with a message that I didn't hear so I called the number back. They claimed I had an outstanding debt to the ATO and wanted me to pay over $4000 to cancel an arrest warrant in my name. I said I didn't want to pay anything over the phone to a number that just called me and claimed to be the ATO as it smelled like a scam to me. Then he got angry, called me a "mother f***er" and hung up. Great entertainment value.10/10 would rile up again.
