I needed to pay money or I would be contacted by the Sheriffs Office within 45mins & then arrested within 2hrs. But I could pay my money owing, which was 5.600 & all would be ok.. We have notified the Police.
Received a call on 7 April 2015 at c.9.40am purporting to be from the AFP acting for the ATO telling me that my home was under surveillande and to phone the above number if I need assistance.

Why can't the police get involved with Telstra/ Optus etc and find out who this landline account is being billed to.
As I find it hard for someone not to do anything about these scams.
If I want to open up an account I need my 100 points so what is so hard for the police to check this out.
