Just checked my messages from my landline phone..... Yes another caller from this number... I gather it's another scam call.... Had these before from this number... I ignore but they are so bloody consistent....
I got home to find a message telling me that I had taxation fraud charges pending and they were very serious and to call this number 02 6152 8665 in relation to find out what the charges were these dumb arses think I came down in the last shower what a bunch of wankers.
SAme as above, claimed to be from the ITO Headquarters and that a legal case was pending, blah blah. You can safely ignore.
I rang the police and they were not interested, They told me to ring the taxation department. They did not even take the number.
I got a call this afternoon from 0261528665 saying they were the taxation department and that there was a legal case against me for tax evasion. I told them that it was not possible, I did not owe any money and he called me a stupid old woman and said the police would be calling at my home tomorrow. Oh he did know my address too.
Left message on landline, threatening criminal consequences if I didn't call them, said they were ATO..,, yeah right!

Had a bogus message left on the land line, guy with a foreign accent claiming to be from the ITO, not the ATO dumb buggers couldn't get the cover story straight before even starting, Just another scam!
There was a message on my landline answering machine today from this number. It started before the answering machine message had finished so it may have been a recording. The accent sounded maybe Irish.
It's a tax scam. They say they are in Canberra and they try to get you to wire transfer money for your "tax debt".
