Received three calls from these scammers in the past 4 days claiming they are from the ATO and I subject to criminal and fraud charges. ATO has my address as well as that of my accountant. Scammers.
Just got the call from my incoming call recorder stating that I have a fraud/tax evasion case filed by the taxation office and that I should return the call to the subject number. I googled the number and lo and behold, as I have expected... A SCAM! These idiots picked the wrong person. I have been diligently going to a certified accountant year after year to pay my due tax.

6 messages from Jason O'Connor of the tax department telling me there is a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud. Got to give them 10 points for persistance.

Caller obviously from the sub continent threatens that the taxation department is sending "an officer from the local Police to arrest you".
