Man from this number left a message on my phone this morning. Claims from ATO and that I have serious tax fraud charges against me. Man's accent is typical of an Indian trying to fake a different accent. Words he used like "badge ID number" are not typical of what ATO would use. Obviously a scam, don't give this prick any info if he calls you, tell him to piss off.

I ring back this number to show my friends how silly these people are. They answer hello this is Australian Tax Office. U can hear the phone while ringing been transferred to another number. Someone should shut them down.Asap.

Received this call from Mark King too, said I have committed tax fraud. Obviously a scam, I am sure the ATO would never ring your number with this message. They would send a registered letter or something more official, this idiot obviously thinks we are stupid. With 5-6 scams calls a day this does not wash with me. I think it is a scam based on fear. They told me that theres a warrant out for my arrest and quoted a No. I think they may want you to get scared and offer to pay the so called frauded amount. I just listened then hung up, I said nothing then they said the police were coming I just said Ok and thats was it I hung up.
Please be carful people Never do any Bussiness over the phone or give any personal information out None Zilch nothing e.g. do you own your own house, whats your income how many people kids adults in the house, THis is personal do not engage.

I got the call from a Mark King re tax fraud and to ring them back. I did and tried to get more info the guy kept saying a suit had been filed against me. Weird.
