(with some background noise) Indian guy notifying of unverified purchase of coffee machine on Amazon account. Asks for code sent to phone. Checked my Amazon quickly to find nothing of such - I hung up. Amazon never cold-calls.
Got a call on this number. Claimed to be from Amazon asking if I had purchased a $600 coffee machine. I said " Who am I?" He said you know who you are. I said... But you called me. Who are you talking to?. He said he would check his records. I hung up. Idiot! It's a scam. And so is number ending 1422 probably.
Just got a call from someone who said they're from Amazon Customer Support telling me about some suspicious activity on my account. I checked my account while on call and did not see the suspicious transaction that person was talking about.
Indian guy, think he said he was from Amazon. I couldn’t understand him. A coffee machine Was purchased from my account should he go ahead and process. I kept him on the line for a while to waste his time then told him to cancel he disconnected himself as he was cancelling the transaction and no doubt adding my number to yet another list.
