First I received a text from McAfee a few weeks back (reported as spam) saying my McAfee was up for renewal, then I received and email this morning saying they will renew today $419 and call this number if you wish to cancel. It was already installed on my new laptop last year early March, but I uninstalled it and paid for another Anti virus. I called the number the guy wanted me on speaker phone then asked me if I had an android or apple phone, I said what's that got to do with renewing a subscription that I didn't have in the first place and then click he hung up! Thanks for the other reviews I will call McAfee direct.

I received a message claiming to be from McAfee, stating that I needed to contact them within 24 hours to prevent a $19 automatic subscription charge from being applied to my account. The message was poorly written with bad grammar and punctuation, making it look fraudulent.
