Also received similar call to others reported, stating that if I did not respond to the ATO on 02 6100 3038, I would be responsible for legal costs.
This caller demanding to know if you have enough money in your bank account to pay the so called tax debt. Obviously would use the details you would give to access your bank account. He gives a federal agent no and this Ph no. To call back. When asked if he knew my TFN and tax agent he hung up. Surprise Surprise....
