Had the same Voicemail as others on the home number in left by Jason O'Connor from the ATO regarding Tax Evasion. I need to call the number back within 24hrs or a police officer from my "local" station in my "local" suburb in my State would be at the door of my home with a warrant for my arrest.2nd time I've had a message. Last time it was a female.

Say they are from ATO... Definite scam.
I had a call from an Indian man who I couldn't really understand but he more or less said that the police were about to arrest me for something to do with my tax. While I knew it was another spam call and I wasn't too worried, my husband who heard the recording from the message machine was not so complacent. What does it take to get the number shut down so that they are not harassing innocent people?
I get a call like this everyday from an Indian person telling me that I'm about to get arrested by the police if I do not return the phone call to them and it is because of an ATO penalty. This is a scam and this is not the first. The government should take these matters seriously and track the numbers so that the people responsible can be identified and prosecuted for fraud. I don't know why they are still able to make calls everyday when so many people have complained about it.
There was message left on my phone about ATO and Tax evasion. There are so many callers like this, trying to fish information out of people by threatning them.
This should be seriously addresses by the government bodies responsible.

Got a call from 02 6064 2067 from John Oconnor saying he was from the ATO and my case was going to court soon for tax evasion.
He mentioned the local police will call to give me an arrest warrant.
This will obviously scare a lot of people and I will be calling TELSTRA to have this number blocked. Telstra FAILED to block another number (I spoke for a long time and then no email was sent or link where I could block other numbers myself).
The police should really call this number and pretend to answer this call. It is getting ridiculous and would be especially scary for elderly people. Time something was done about these idiots.
Phone message saying we have court order for tax evasion. Call this number to rectify...
