What Our Users Reviewed
Definitely a scam, they called me saying they were from Commonwealth Bank and that there was a security alert with some unauthorised transactions. They then asked me to download the "anydesk" app from app store, which is how scammers get remote access into your phone or computer. I told them to send me an email with the request instead and that I thought they were a scam. They then hung up. Callers had thick Indian accents.
Definitely a spoofed number! I answered and waited the obligatory five seconds before speaking - by which time the number cut out. I changed my number to "No caller ID" and rang them back (Several times!) each time the call failed (Like when you call a radio station to get those tickets!) DEFINITELY A SCAM NUMBER!!!
This is a scam call pretending to be from the Commonwealth Bank. The caller asks you to download the "Anydesk" app, which is likely a tactic to gain access to your device.
