This call was supposed to be from Mayvale, but when I answered, there was nobody on the line.

I have been receiving calls from a similar number every day, right before midday. I ignore them and then block the number, but the next day I get a call from yet another similar number. They always show up as being from the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

No message left, most likely scammers.

They left a voicemail message that was quite unprofessional. It prompted me to press "1" for Liberal, "2" for Labor, and "3" for Independent. I found the content ridiculous and unsolicited.

I received a questionable survey call regarding the NSW by-election, despite living in Western Australia. I suspect the caller may have obtained my number from Kogan. There wasn't an option to select "none of the above" during the survey, so I pressed 5 for undecided, after which they disconnected. This experience makes me wonder if the survey is more sinister than it appears.

They hang up as soon as I answer.
