What Our Users Reviewed
The caller claimed there was an issue with my internet connection and offered to "guide" me through a solution. Given other reports warning of similar scams, I will not answer any future calls from this number.
My Samsung phone identified this call as spam. It was redirected to my voicemail, where a message was left stating, "Your contact details are incomplete. Please press 1 for English, press 2 for Chinese." This clearly indicates it's a scam.
I answered a call from a robot voice that started with “Hello, epidemic notice.” It specifically instructed Chinese or international students to press 2.
I called the number back and initially heard a message in an Asian language. This was followed by an English message delivered in a US accent that stated, "You are caller number 2 in the queue waiting to speak with a representative." The message did not specify which company or organization the representative was from. I suspect this is a SCAM.
