Said my account was being hacked and to ring the commonwealth Bank on this dodgy number.
Gets annoying not knowing what or who to believe with all the spammers.
Sms message saying they are Commbank for $1421.27 to AIRBNB - didn't click the link I called the number separately and then hung up, however then someone called Patrick called me back saying he was from Commbank and saw there was a missed call!!
I said no-one ever see's a missed call from a Bank and calls you back - he then hung up.
SCAM - blocked.
SMS saying 'Commbank Net code for $1421 for Airbnb and if not you call this number' I rang. Very convincing, I asked why there was a netcode for transaction and without netcode it could not be processed anyway, was told it was the 4th transaction today and hence the netcode was triggered, Was asked if I had friends or family who could of made this transaction, asked how many com bank accounts I had, asked if I had made a booking recently on Airbnb. They said they would need to block my card with immediate effect and asked for the 16 digits... Then realised was a scam and hung up. Be careful, very convincing and english speaking.
SMS from commbank saying there is a lpurchase of $1421.

This is clearly a SCAM. I received a Netcode on my mobile that was not associated with my account. When I called the number tied to the Netcode, it sounded like I was speaking with the Commonwealth Bank, but it was a fraudulent operation attempting to steal my banking information.
