I got the message about $299 from eBay too. I do use them but don’t remember purchasing that so I blocked them.

Received a call from 025016 2514 & they left a message saying it was eBay & a transaction of $299 was going to be taken from my account. I called back on a separate line & an asian lady answered the phone. Considering I don't buy from eBay this is very clearly a scam.

A recorded message about a supposed eBay debit on my account instructed me to press several numbers. I advise you to delete this message and not engage as it is a phishing attempt.
