Just had the exact same thing happen.
I got an email alerting me that my subscription with McAfee was going to renew today for AU$419.00. The email included a phone number to reach their Customer Help Center at (02) 5016 2462. I'm certain this is a scam as I did not authorize any such charge.
I received the same email from this number linked to a landline. The caller claimed I might have accidentally signed up for something by clicking on an advertisement and requested my mobile number to send me a cancellation form. I decided to end the call at that point.
Email claiming I owe subscription to McAfee. I don’t use them so definitely a scam. Annoying!

Recorded computer voice claiming to be from PayPal and stating that a charge of (from memory) $290-ish would soon be made to my acount, with an option to press a menu number to speak to an operator. Then the call hung up.
Scam… first an “Asian” lady told me to shut up when I told her I wasn’t falling for any scam then an Indian bloke called me a mother f*ker when I told him the same thing… seriously if people put this much effort into REAL jobs then this shit wouldn’t happen.
