Claiming to be from cybersecurity for “all” Australian banks. Very pushy. Claimed there was an amount of $800 that was being investigated to be paid to a John Smith in California who they said was a hacker. Caller wanted an app to be downloaded from the App Store so that the “hacker” details could be cleared from the Internet bank account. Got abusive when I refused to download the app.
Claiming to be PayPal. Contacted PayPal through official channels and they confirmed it isn’t them. Got a call from a similar number in the same location a few days earlier pretending to be my bank. Albury NSW 0250162425 & 0250162537.

This number left a robotic recorded message saying I would be charged a certain amount of money unless I pressed the number 1 now - scam!
An unknown number called me from Albury, NSW. No message was left, so I presume this is spam and have blocked the number.
I received a call from someone claiming that money would be deducted from my bank account, which seemed suspicious and possibly a scam.
