I received a call from thiis number after apply for a rental property in person at a real estate. I didn't use the internet or form 1. The caller said he was contracted by real estate to find me a property and wanted my details which I refused to disclose. When I approached the real estate about selling my details to an indian company they denied any knowledge of it. Its a scam but they got my name and number from somewhere.
Just applied for rental and got this missed call I suggest to anyone applying who doesn't get the property call the realestate and collect your application.
Have recently applied for a rental property and started receding missed/prank calls from this number. Googled the number and found this page. My girlfriend is also receiving prank calls from same number and we are both on the rental applications. I have obviously been a victom of having my details sold to a scammer by a real estate. Be careful if you use LJ Hooker as they may be selling details provided on he rental applications to anonymous scammers. I also put in an application with Louis Carr real estate. So be warned and read all disclosure statements on the application before signing.
I have had two calls from this number both times they hang up strait away. Tried calling back multiple times but the line is always busy.
Just got s call from this number, woman with an American accent from GT something or rather and asking if I had found a rental or still looking. When I said we had found one she hung up scam for sure.
