What Our Users Reviewed
The scammers have acquired some Lattitude credit card information - including the last four digits on one’s credit card - so that when they call they can give you some personal information. You are told there has been suspect activity on our card and ask if you authorised that activity. When you say no they will follow up by sending a “confirmation code” which they will ask you to repeat back to them. Eventually they will ask you to give them the full credit card number and that of any supplementary cards attached to the principle card.
A little slicker than the average scam. The worry is that they already have some of my personal details.
Just your run of the mill not very bright scammers.
