BEWARE SCAM: Recorded message "EPIDEMIC ALERT" press 1 for Australian 2 for Chinese.
They tried to scam people who are here in Australia with a visa. They probably did a search/filter and tried to pick people with certain ethnicity/nationality according to people's name and surname. Tried to scam me saying that Department of Home Affairs (DHA) was out to get me and will cancel my visa. I played along pretending I was so scared. They even pretended to transferred you to "a DHA staff". I'm just lucky I cannot fall for this because I am NOT on a visa and no one can deport me.
Said it was Vodafone, I told them I will call Vodafone to confirm because I don't take offers over the phone, she hung up.
Scam says it was Vodafone but was a Chinese number stay away.
Scam, leaving a poorly produced recorded message.
