I suspect the callers did not realize they were speaking to an actual business. They just repeated my statements after silence, then hung up once they understood they weren’t getting responses. Totally feels like a scam.

We received a call this morning from an aggressive individual who seemed to be a scam artist. He sent an email which I refused to open out of caution. When I asked him questions, he claimed I was asking too many, demanded to speak to my manager, and then threatened to sue me. I advise everyone to be wary and avoid any interactions with this type of person.

I was contacted by a scam related to fake delivery services, which asked for my email address and mentioned a fictitious financial company associated with the delivery.

I had the same experience where the caller asked me to open a link and provide a code over the phone. I told them if the delivery was legitimate, they could go directly to my PO box; there’s no need for me to provide confirmation. This is definitely a BIG SCAM.

The caller identified themselves as being from Zoom Delivery Services, referencing our previous address and asking for our current address. They claimed the parcel was from Dark Star Coffee. When I said I couldn’t provide the new address and mentioned that we don't source coffee from anyone, they abruptly hung up. The call felt very suspicious.

The caller asked me to confirm a delivery address for a document that was supposedly from the Federal Court of Australia. It appears that they are using information from ASIC director records.

An Indian-accented woman called me and provided her name, company name, and address, stating that they were delivering a package but required me to confirm details via a link in an email. She insisted on having an email to which they could send this information. This is a typical scam tactic. I kept her on the line for a bit, and surprisingly, she didn't get angry like many other scammers do when they realize I’m wasting their time.

Hello everyone, I'm Pete, the General Manager of Zoom2u. I want to clarify that the calls being reported are scams and do not represent our company. We send legitimate confirmation emails but never include attachments, only a tracking link via SMS or email. If you need to contact us, our official number is 1300 326 150. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about these scams other than report them to Scam Watch.

A woman with a slight American accent called from this number. She knew my exact name, my company's name, and my address, which was alarming. She mentioned something about delivering a parcel from a medical center, which confused me. When I questioned her about it, she abruptly hung up. This was a very unsettling experience.

A person called my mobile and asked if they were speaking to me, using my full name, including my rarely shared middle name. They inquired about a parcel I supposedly received. When I asked for more information about the parcel and the medical centre they represented, they hesitated and then hung up.

I recognized this call as I had an identical one on February 2, 2022. My business also received this call, leading me to believe it is a common nuisance.

Similar to the previous report, I was contacted by a company claiming to have a medical supply delivery scheduled within an hour, and they used my husband’s name as the business address. When I asked for the name of the company, they hung up abruptly.

Scam caller selling something from Florida. Heavy Indian accent. Talked over me and would not let me interrupt to speak. Block this number!

Telemarketing company. Caller said her name and let me know that I had registered via a website for promotion and had WON!

They knew my name and it could be from missed call and hearing my voicemail as I have had a number of missed call from this number. SPAM and SCAM. Do not pick up and I have blocked!

I was called by this number but missed it so rang back. They called me by my first name, congratulated me for winning a prize to Florida but told me before I got too excited that they wanted to verify some details. Asked me if my birthday was a particular date. They were close but not right. What I found perculiar was they didn't say who they were, who they represented or what competition I actually supposedly entered. I didn't give any details to them. Told them they were close then hung up.

Just received a call to my mobile from this number telling me I had won a trip to Disneyland for a competition I had entered. It Claimed to be for 4 people and it was valid for 12 months. Pretty sure it was a computer talking or a recording. I don't actually remember entering such a completion but they had my name, d.o.b and email. I asked them to send me this information to my email which they said they would right after I paid the $249 fee for something and told me they could see that I have a valid credit card and could I confirm the first 4 digits. Trouble is I don't actually have a valid credit card as it was stolen and got cancelled last week. When I told them this they basically ignored me and ask for the first 4 digits again, after this happened 3 times hung up. Didn't receive any email either.
