What Our Users Reviewed
This is definitely a scam call. The person on the line claimed to be from Bendigo Bank, inquiring about an unauthorized transaction for over $2,000 to someone named Richard Nolan. They wanted to connect me to their Fraud Department. I kept them on the line to gather information, but I do not have an account with Bendigo Bank, so I recognized it as a scam. The caller had an Indian accent.
When I answered this call, the caller stated that they were going to deactivate my phone number today unless I took action. This seems suspicious and alarming.
I did not answer the call, but they left a voicemail that started with a Chinese-speaking recording. It then switched to English saying it was "Optus" calling. I believe this was a hoax call.
