What Our Users Reviewed
Phone flagged this number as "spam" with a big red warning. I get attempted calls from scammers at least once every day, always from spoofed landline numbers. This one came shortly after another one they've called from before that was reviewed and all the reviews said it was a scammer.
I use an app to block any number not in my contacts list, and all landline area codes from interstate. I doubt I get more than one legitimate interstate call a year but I do get 3 scam calls every single day from spoofed ones.
The caller ID's are faked, the call centres are in India of course. Some local VoIP server routes internet traffic to the phone lines, so that means the telcos could block it if they wanted.
