    Annoying repetitive phone calls from this number (& similar). They hang up as soon as personally or answering machine answer call. If don't hang up they do not speak but can hear some faint background noise. Have said STOP CALLING numerous times but continue to do so... VERY IRRITATING!!!!

    Missed the call and they left a voicemail saying $9.99 was going to be debited from my account. Was a recorded message and no company name was said or why this money was coming out of my account.

    Spam message saying they have received a purchase request for $299.99 and that the money will be debited from my account within the hour. Doesn't say who they are or what I've supposedly purchased. Complete scam.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
