I received a call with an automated voice stating there was an “urgent epidemic message.” I hung up as soon as I heard it.
I received a voice message encouraging me to return the call and interact with their deceptive buttons. Please be cautious, everyone! These scammers are simply trying to steal your information. It's best to block them!
The message left on my voicemail mentioned something about an urgent epidemic notice that had not been responded to, instructing me to press 2 for the Chinese department. This message simply repeated itself.
I answered a call from this number today. It was a recorded message saying they were from the Immigration Bureau but I ended the call then, so have no further details.
