A caller claimed to be from Telstra, stating that our email had been hacked. They asked me to follow their instructions to resolve the issue. This is clearly a scam attempt.
This number called me four times over the course of two days, claiming to be from Telstra. When I mentioned that we are not Telstra customers, they hung up on me.
The caller claimed to be from a travel organization and stated that I had filled out a form to be contacted. They mentioned that my family had won discounted holidays across Australia. This seems suspicious and potentially misleading.
I didn't pick up the call, and when it went to voicemail, I could hear multiple people talking in the background, likely from a call center. However, the caller did not leave a message, which makes me suspect it's a scam.
