What Our Users Reviewed
Just got a computer generated call claiming the same thing as the other report on this page, going on about having to call them back or a arrest warrant will be issued.
I deal with the ATO regularly and they never do a call like this.
I received a computer generated message from this phone number today. The message claimed to be from the ATO and went as follows: The moment you get this message I want you to get back to me on my department division number. Now, if we don’t hear from you, we have to issue arrest warrant under your name and get you arrested so get back to me as soon as possible. Thank you.
I then called the number and they claim to be the ATO and they tried to get all my details from me, I. E Name, DOB etc.
