Caller left fake ato tax arrest scam message.
This number claim they are ATO and it is a voice message.
Automatic voice message from this numbers says: get back to me. Otherwise we will have to issue you with an arrest warrant.
Rec'd a call from 02 4017 0455, didn't answer it and went to my voicemail. A computer animated voice stated that I was to immediately contact the person or an arrest warrant would be issued.
Yeah right, I'm no where near gulliable to believe that, wouldn't even be bothered to call and have a shot at the fraudster.
Missed a call from this number and received a missed call message from Telstra which reads:
"Tax(?) fraud(?) any(?) investigation team of our department is investigating you and your family. We had tried to notify you regarding this issue but we had never.".
You would think that these low-life scammers would at least perfect their English and literacy skills before trying to get money from you with their shitty scams.
Missed a call from this number. Called them back and they claim they are from the ATO and that they had found a problem with my tax return. But then they asked me for my name. If they didn't know my name, how did they know I had a problem with my tax return.
