I answered and it sounded like a recorded voice asking for pet welfare donations, then she spoke over me a few times so I knew it was recorded. I hung up and they called back, again no message left.. They have called several times in the last few days. SCAM.
They use different phone numbers for the same scam. I keep blocking the numbers then another similar number calls and doesn't leave a message. I have called back and it's a Pet scam asking for donations.
The numbers that have rung are: 02 40117536.024011 7547.02 4011 7546.
Called back went to voice message saying its a pet foundation. Could be a scam.
Apparently Australian Pet Welfare Foundation as quoted by the spammer or telemarketer, Emily Peters. As soon as I told her I was a pensioner and lived in a nursing home she hung up.
