The caller asked for my name and seemed sketchy from the start. When I provided a fake name, they further questioned if I lived in Sydney or if I shared my bank details with others. They did not follow up with any other typical security questions. They insisted that I download an app called AnyDesk, which allows remote access to my device. I confronted them about being scammers, and they transferred me to a so-called "manager" who was verbally abusive.
I was verbally abused by the caller who alleged that someone was withdrawing money in my name from Florida. However, I reside in Australia and do not know anyone in Florida. This is clearly a total scam.
