Hey, just a heads up! It's actually Revenue NSW. If you get their call, don’t ignore it – make sure you’re all checked out with your license!
I received a return call from Revenue NSW, and instead of waiting for 30 minutes on hold, I spoke with an actual representative. This number is real and associated with Revenue NSW, and I can confirm that it is NOT a scam.
I received a call from this number and initially dismissed it, but upon researching it further, I realized it might be legitimate due to an expected response from Revenue NSW. However, I am also concerned about potential privacy breaches and feel quite paranoid about the situation.
When I returned the call to this number, it connected to the RTA (Roads and Maritime Services), but I have no outstanding fines or issues. I suspect this could be a scam using the RTA's phone lines to fool people.
I received a call in the middle of the night while I was abroad in Europe. When I called the number back, an automated message said it was “not assigned to a client.” I strongly believe this is a scam or telemarketing call.
I answered a call from this number, and a woman identified herself as being from Revenue NSW, claiming I had an overdue fine. Since I am certain that I do not owe any fines, I hung up and suspect that this is a scam.
I want to clarify that this number is NOT a scam. It legitimately belongs to Revenue NSW. Although it's not listed on their updated contact page, I received a call from them today regarding an overdue fine, and they had accurate details about my account.
Keeps calling, answered once but no one spoke and there crackling, to me that’s a scammer for sure. So I hung up.
This call was definitely from Revenue NSW inquiring about legitimate fines that I may owe.
I want to clarify that this is not a scam number; it belongs to Revenue NSW. They typically call from this number if you have a debt with the NSW Government.
This is a scam! I received two calls from the same number where they threatened that I would lose my driving license. I’m only 12 years old, and this is ridiculous!
The caller, claiming to be from Revenue NSW, was looking for someone named Robert. They called me twice, raising concerns about the legitimacy of the call.
This seems to be a scam from Revenue NSW. They try to intimidate people. I know that the government has offices in regional towns, including Transport NSW. I was caught by a camera for a minor infraction, but I discovered that another driver, who was 12 km over the limit, received a lighter penalty than I did for being only 10 km over. It seems unfair and confirms my suspicions that they're trying to scam us.
I received a text message claiming that I owed money and urging me to click on a link. Recognizing it as a scam, I chose not to click the link and blocked the number. Later that same day, I received a call from this number but did not answer as they did not leave a voicemail. After checking on Reverse AU, it confirmed my suspicions—this is a scammer!
This number called me, but when I answered, there was no one on the line.
I was wondering if you've received any letters about this issue, as I experienced something similar recently. Thanks and take care!
This call was a follow-up regarding an outstanding debt collected by Revenue NSW. It's important to respond if your contact details aren't up to date to avoid missed information related to your account.
I have identified this as a scam call. A woman claimed they would cancel my NSW driver's license, but I informed her that my license is already canceled since I switched to a WA license.
The call I received was a scam. After contacting Revenue NSW, they confirmed that the call was not legitimate, as I have no fines or outstanding payments. I recommend blocking this number.
The caller claimed that I owed money related to iCare (NSW Workers Compensation). If this were a legitimate matter, I would expect to receive official communication by mail rather than a phone call.
I received a call from Revenue NSW, which appears to be legitimate. They informed me that they have the authority to cancel my driver's license and vehicle registration if I do not comply with their requests.
This number called my mother's phone, and I answered it. The caller claimed to be from a government agency but refused to specify which one when I inquired. Their evasiveness was suspicious and concerning.
Are you associated with this scam? People are becoming more aware and less easily fooled these days.
I received a call from a woman claiming to represent a company regarding a final payment that they forgot to process months ago. She had details about my total amount paid, previous payment amounts, and even my former temporary address and email, which made her seem credible. The caller had an Australian accent and appeared legitimate, but I am still cautious given the unusual nature of the call.
Scam call pretending to be revenue NSW.
This caller is definitely a scam! It's ironic that they would use this reverse call service to carry out their scam activities.
Scammers.
This number is an alleged scam; the caller claimed to be from Revenue NSW.
Indian male voice claiming to be calling from NSW Revenue. He pretends to use a landline but is really using VOIP (causing a delay when he speaks). This likely means they're spoofing the number. I contacted NSW revenue and they told me they don't use this number. My guess is there's an Indian employee who works for NSW Revenue who has accessed confidential client information (name, phone number, case issue). They then sell this info onto scammers who try to get you to pay. This sort of scam is worse than most since they're accessing genuine NSW Revenue case information.
Recieved call, obvious scam.
RevenueNSW's automatic outbound calls number.
This claims to be revenue Australia I have rung Rev Australia and they did not make this call its sounds exactly the same but its not. Even hold music is the same Australia accents as well.
RevenueNSW.
It's not a scam, it is revenue NSW.
It is revenue NSW.
Hangs up when I answer the phone. Has called me 3 times today.
Appears to be a fake revenue NSW scam.
I Answered the call but no voice heard for 2 secs so I hung up and blocked number.
