I received a marketing call trying to sell me an energy contract. I believe this call was a scam.
National Broadband Network scam - I told this Indian lady to piss off.
I agree with you Hwang I had the same call.
This number called me and they were very forceful in demanding I change my National Broadband Network provider, I explained I was happy with my current one and I wasn’t going to risk giving any of my details over the phone to a company I’ve never heard of, he didn’t like that and got angry, may have been real but I wasn’t risking it!
Called and hung up.
An Indian woman with a harsh and barely understandable accent called me, claiming she was from my energy company and wanted to discuss my account. However, I don’t have any account under my name with that company. If you're going to attempt a scam, at least do your research properly!
