    Scam caller trying to sell you a Blackview A20 Pro android phone saying it's this and that and all bells and whistles. They are going to sell it to me for half price, I can pay as much as I want when I can and whatever. The phone is old, came out in 2018 and when you start telling them all about it (thanks Google), all of a sudden it's a different phone they want to sell you. They get cross and hang up after you wasted 15 minutes of their time. Oh my heart bleeds for them.

    Phone detected as spam, pressed decline, they immediately call back and this process happened about 5 times until I pressed answer; said nothing and they hung up. Looked up the number and it says it's from china so high chance of a potential scam/spam.

    I called back and it went to a telemarketing room (heard in the background).

    Told them to never call again and hung up.

    Scam call say you’ve won a phone and ask for your details. They call you stupid if you don’t give them your name or bank details. They will continue to call you continuously until you block the number.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
