When I called the number back (twice to make sure) a recorded message told me that I had called an invalid access code and that I should check the number and try again. I would say it is definitely a scam.

He knew my name and the location of my bank branch. Very convincing but still obvious it was a scam. I contacted my bank branch asap to report scam.
Caller said they were Commonwealth Bank Fraud Department about a payment made from my account to a Patricia Smith in US. I don't have a Commonwealth Bank account and when told this to the caller he hung up instantly.
