    Macquarie bank LIE about not deliberately hanging up on you.

    Recently I tried to raise a complaint stating that the Macquarie bank Customer Advocate did not do due diligence in investigating an unnecessary and avoidable Home Foreclosure and the fact, that they gave me enough info to be shore that my suicide would help save my family. Not to mention offering Mental Health help in recent times then retracting it the same day. I have now found out that they lied when they told me that they never hang up on well behaved people. One decent person at Macquarie bank just told me that they do hang up on people and she was sorry, but she had to hang up on me, knowing full well about my depression, PDSD and suicidal ideology.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
