    I answered pretty quickly, they hung up as soon as I answered. Could be testing to see if my number is connected, could be they ring twenty people all at once and use the first three who answer, and just annoy seventeen others.

    Yes. He called me as well. And ask my internet IP address. So sh*t and aggressive male person. His accent is like Pakis or Indi.

    I direct cut and said the Telstra office is next to my house I will go and ask. Then I cut the call.

    So annoying calls.

    This number pretends to be Telstra's, and then asks for the customer's home wifi IP address. And lied said in a hurry. I would like to warn customers not to tell any people of your home WiFi Ip address. They are liars. Spammers!

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
