    Picked up after 5-6 rings but no response. "Unavailable" showing on my screen. I have had some VERY unsatisfactory customer service from Aussie Post recently so it was probably just as well I couldn't once again vent my frustration! Not good for the blood pressure -:).

    Australia Post number used by an automated survey to gain feedback on users experience of their complaints management process. Pointless calling it back, if you've missed it, you've missed it.

    Similar to the other comment. Called twice and each time they hang up when I answer. Will block the number now.

    This number reached me, but hung up when I answered my phone, they only allowed the phone to ring about 4 or 5 times.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
