Answered a call from this number 0481 614 426 claiming to be from a Furniture Company, that they had details to deliver a 3 seater sofa and chaise to me. That this had already been paid for. I was confused as I had not ordered a sofa. She then says well it's been paid for you can resell it if you don't want it but why wouldn't you want to keep it it's good quality. I said they must have the wrong number. She said this is definitely the number that the sofa is for. I asked for the delivery address details which she kept avoiding answering then I heard laughter in the background and it hung up.
Do not answer calls from this number I don't know what they were trying to achieve but I did not give my name or any personal details.
I had a call from an Australia woman saying she was from a section in the council on recycling and did I have a minute to talk. She then went on to say Neighbours had complained about my recycling bin and upon inspection they found glass bottles in the green bin. She then switched to an angry tone and said “how dare you”
This number phoned me and claimed that they were from an Alcoholics Anonymous group and that I had been reported by a friend to this company. He then asked mw whether I would prefer morning or afternoon meetings. I asked “who is this again and where are you calling from?” To which he responded nastily that he has seen the photo taken of me at the party and how intoxicated I looked.
So I just hung up. Definitely not answering anymore unknown phone numbers.
