    Calls from this number started on the 23 April 2022 and including today.28 April 2022 - 7 calls received… I answered at least 4 of them in mute and on speaker and as I suspected, immediately they cut the call. No messages. Just irritation!

    Called to say my electricity rates have gone down but then asked for my address. Told him if the prices are down then my bills would reflect that. I hung up after he started arguing with me.

    Told me they were from my power provider and told me my rates have gone down due to the area I live in then proceeded to ask me if I was in NSW…. If the rates went down in my area wouldn’t they know my location? I hung up after that.

    Received call, did not answer, searched number & see number searched over 200 times, so fair to say it's a scam call.

    No message left.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
