    Left a message just now saying it is Chelsea (amercian accent) from Dorovitch Pathology. Call them on 1800350346 re invoice reference number 88210617.

    I have not been to Dorovitch, so it is a scam.

    Scam got the call combined with sms about overdue bill. I did go to have test for the period they start spamming. The info was leaked there I guess. Did go to the test center I tested and was confirmed there's no overdue billed as they were all builk bill cover.

    They sent me a text message first asking for an outstanding invoice for Dorevitch Pathology test, with invoice number and amount. I googled Dorevitch Patholody and left them an email asking for bill authenticity. An Indian accent lady then called me with this number in the afternoon chasing for the money. She knew part of my name. When I asked for the invoice details she couldn't provide any details but giving me the wrong doctor's name. She also had no idea I've sent email to Dorevitch Patholody in the morning. I refused to provide her my email address so she gave me her email address: mary.nadividad@healiu.com.au. So watch out!

    As others have said above, I got a call saying I owed money for a pathology test (which I haven't done). They knew my doctor's name and said I owed them $300. I have scam callers blocked on my iPhone so when they call they are immediately hung up on. Which it has done for this number. So based on this and the feedback above it appears to be a scam.

    It was a woman saying that she’s representing Amazon. Funny that I actually got a parcel from Amazon the other day, so I believed her for a second. It was when she went on to greet me and asked me how my day was did I realise it was probably a scam. Customer service was never this polite and friendly.

    I had breast cancer so get a lot of scans etc. I had an ultrasound yesterday. Today I get a message from this number saying they were ringing from "my town" Imaging and to ring 1800 007 336 and quote a ref no. I rang it assuming it was to do with my results but it doesn't connect. Then I googled the number and found this. These people are scum, targeting sick people with cancer.

    Left a voicemail for some pathology company, asking me to call back on a different number. Not expecting anything. They didn't state my name or anything, sounds like a scam.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
