This popup has happened on my laptop 3 times - twice in Darwin and once in Perth on a different internet service. In Perth I also had two phone calls saying much the same as the popup screen and telling me to go to my computer and add this code. The first caller was very persistent and when I told him I believed his call was a scam he still persisted with his chat, insisting I enter his codes. He spoke English with an Australian accent. I hung up on him. He had rung the home phone number of where I was staying! I can only guess that it came from the information on their internet server account as I was using their internet connection. That was early in April 2017. I got another phone call several days later with the same speel, my laptop wasn't running and the guy had an obvious Indian accent, he hung up as soon as I accused him trying to scam me and hacking into my computer.
Today 17/5/17 slightly different popup with the blaring siren warning (I put in the headphones so I could look at the screens) The address at the top bar is.

Hope someone knows how to track the host and can jam this scam. Thanks.
Found the number on a pop-up saying my computer is infected. It said it would help remove the infection despite nothing infecting my computer.
The page then redirects to scary computer images and some audio playing. Close your browser, run a virus scan or call your looking computer guy. Just don’t call!

More important, Adult sites are 98% to be found as their favourite way of passing their viruses. Your internet browser suddenly freeze and your computer is frozen. Best way is to shut your computer down (by pressing power button for 20 to seconds or to make sure unplug Your computer). Fear and stress will take over with messages saying that your computer has had a virus attack. Restart with a clean browser cache and a run of a antivirus if you have one. Talk to someone (to your local computer guy) if you are not reassured or still in distress. This is a free phone call number, that’s targeting Australian audience. Note that nothing has changed in your computer system but check if some extensions had been added to your browser. If you do a lot of surfing the net, always run Task Manager that can stop any further damage. Do not let those curry scumbags win.(any clues where you did get that popup or blue screen?).
