I wouldn't necessarily say this number is always from a scammer. I have had two legitimate messages from this number from 2 different companies (a specialist foot clinic and a chiropractor). I suspect they use a 3rd party SMS company to send their appointment messages and the number allocated to do this is the above number....

Message: Your consignment ###### is with the driver for delivery today.
This text was a legitimate text notifying me the courier with Australia Post was delivering my desk today.
Courier arrived shortly after text.
I'm assuming the text was generated by the supplier of the desk, since I did not get any notification of dispatch from Catch Of The Day, and they checked for me and said must be sent directly to me from their supplier in Victoria.
