    Number didn't leave a voice message but going off comments it'd Bendigo Bank and I was actually in there 15 minutes prior after getting money out for my holiday and putting a warning on my card and was asked if I had insurance and said yes. Maybe they were double checking it was in fact me possibly.

    Rejected the call because it comes up as suspected spam on my phone. They left a message, not realising it was my voicemail, saying they were from Bendigo bank.

    This number is calling me every two days. I don't know who it is and they do not leave a message. I suspect it is a marketing call as I just recently started getting them from another number which has made me loathe to answer a number I am unfamiliar with. I am blocking it and suggest others do the same.

    Telephone scammers try to steal your money or personal information. Scams may come through phone calls from real people, robocalls, or text messages.

    Call or message may be a scam if:

    • You're asked for personal information or money;
    • Text messages tell you to urgently click a link or call a number;
    • The call or text pretends to be from someone you trust like your phone company or bank;
    • You're being threatened or made to feel scared;
    • The caller wants to access and control your computer.

    To protect yourself:

    • Don't answer if you don't know who it is. Let the call go to voicemail.
    • If a caller leaves a message claiming to be from known organisation, cross check the number the call came from against the organisation's official website.
    • Never share any personal information about yourself or your bank details.
    • Don't click on any links. Never let a stranger take control of your computer.
    • Do not send any money.
    • Block calls on your mobile phone. Your phone company can tell you how to block calls to your home phone.
