I love stringing along those "microsoft technicians " who wants to fix my computer, actually my kids enjoy it more, keep the "technician" on long enough to get to the car and the kids hang onto the horn with the phone right next to it, cracks the kids up every time.

I've got 'Scott Walllace' trying the old scam on me now. Its normally Brian Green trying to scam people while he is in hospital.
I'm an electrical contractor and know this scam and I'm just doing the time wasting thing with him for as long as possible before I give him a final mouthful via email. I've asked for the removalists phone number and been given the number shown above to confirm a delivery date with his so called driver.
I really wish there was something that could be done about these people. While I'm aware of this scam others must fall for it hence why they keep on trying.
Anyway, if one of them is trying to scam you play them along for as long as you can, but never give any details of your business.

He is have double cochlear in plant in hospital. He wants to book my entertainment venue then send me money and wants me to pay for a jazz band.. It all started sounding a bit strange. Yes he also told me he recently purchased a 3 bedroom house the story is so familiar. So I am going to drop this booking like a sack of potatoes but thought I would post this online in case it helped anyone else. Beware...
These guys need to be stopped they are really true thieves have reported to the fraud squad when will.

Yep, all sounds familiar - been approached by a 'Chris Babb' and also a 'Wayne Fletcher' - new to area, bought 3 bedroom house, removalist doesn't take credit card payment, take $2.300 off my credit card then send $2.000 to the removalist - in hospital for double cochlear implant procedure etc etc. We rang the removalist to validate, broken english, they provided their direct banking details. Have reported this scam to ACCC and threatened the scammer that any future contact will result in their details being handed to our Federal Police!

I'm an electrical contractor and know this scam and I'm just doing the time wasting thing with him for as long as possible before I give him a final mouthful via email. I've asked for the removalists phone number and been given the number shown above to confirm a delivery date with his so called driver.
I really wish there was something that could be done about these people. While I'm aware of this scam others must fall for it hence why they keep on trying.
Anyway, if one of them is trying to scam you play them along for as long as you can, but never give any details of your business.

I have not been contacted by this number but when I did a Google search for chrisbabb632@gmail.com this story came up. And yes I have had the same bulls**t. He is have double cochlear in plant in hospital. He wants to book my entertainment venue then send me money and wants me to pay for a jazz band.. It all started sounding a bit strange. Yes he also told me he recently purchased a 3 bedroom house the story is so familiar. So I am going to drop this booking like a sack of potatoes but thought I would post this online in case it helped anyone else. Beware...

Yep, all sounds familiar - been approached by a 'Chris Babb' and also a 'Wayne Fletcher' - new to area, bought 3 bedroom house, removalist doesn't take credit card payment, take $2.300 off my credit card then send $2.000 to the removalist - in hospital for double cochlear implant procedure etc etc. We rang the removalist to validate, broken english, they provided their direct banking details. Have reported this scam to ACCC and threatened the scammer that any future contact will result in their details being handed to our Federal Police!

Same scam, sounded suspicious before he asked for a favour of $2600. Too much detail, then missing obvious information. The scary thing is some of the facts are correct like the ABN is correct just the surname is Tow not a towing company.
